The delivery of these inhalers will help Indian authorities maintain critical equipment supplies at a time when need and demand for these essential devices is increasing. Patients who have contracted COVID-19 are becoming reliant on pMDIs (pressurized metered-dose inhalers), as a vital method for relieving breathing difficulties.
Koura, one of the businesses of Orbia, carries out activities that are essential to confront the current crisis. 80% of the world’s pMDIs used by 100 million people daily for asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are powered by the propellant gas manufactured by the company.
