RDD 2022 Recap: 152a features across event agenda

2022 is a significant year for 152a (Zephex) with key commercialization milestones being met and this was seen at RDD 2022 held in Orlando Florida with a number of workshop topics and presentations featuring 152a.

During the event Koura’s Dr Stuart Corr hosted a workshop for delegates which covered an updated status of HFA-152a development, New environmental regulation developments, Environmental impact of HFA-152a pMDI, cGMP manufacturing status and Safety. Another workshop at RDD, titled Sustainable pMDI filling and Flammable Propellant Handling was hosted by Paul Sullivan, DH Industries Ltd. The workshop covered low GWP propellants, filling processes and safety handling.

On the podium at RDD, Philip Kuehl, PhD from Lovelace Biomedical gave a presentation on the results from the successfully completed Phase 1 study which had the primary objective to assess the safety and tolerability of HFA-152a following oral inhalation from a pMDI.
